Education in communities

Education in communities

Our focus area for community outreach and engagement has been education, because we believe there are countless opportunities made possible with access to high-quality education.

Our objective is to enable access to educational opportunities across regions in Georgia, and to encourage more students to pursue them. We do so through educational projects with an extensive focus on:

STEM education

Educational infrastructure

Access to quality education

Promoting STEM and supporting access to quality education

We believe that STEM subjects, encompassing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, are crucial for driving innovation, fostering technological advancements and fueling economic growth.

Early exposure of STEM disciplines cultivates critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, preparing young individuals to navigate a rapidly evolving world.

This is why we decided to partner with Komarovi school to form a STEM School, which gives school students the opportunities to take a 1-year online course in STEM and get certified, academic, quality theoretical and practical knowledge in technology, engineering and mathematics.

Improving educational infrastructure

To provide access to books and modern technology to students living in Georgia’s regions, together with the Georgian Book Institute, we started a project to design colourful, multifunctional libraries in public schools in 2020.

Our goal is to enable Georgian students to access a learning and development space where they can find educational resources, learn to work with information technology, and engage in team work.

With this project, we want to benefit as many school students in Georgia’s regions and rural areas as possible. In addition, students from nearby schools are given the opportunity to use Ideathecas within the framework agreed in the project implementation plan.
